"Bloody Mary couldn't be here"

Films: Madman (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Never underestimate the power of urban legends. For every tall tale, there is always a grain of truth to them. The scary part is wondering just how big that truth grain is...

History: An old campfire story tells of Madman Marz, a homicidal farmer who killed his wife and children, then proceeded to hit the bar like no one cared. Well they kinda did, and he was scheduled to be hanged. Somehow, he broke free from certain death, and disappeared into the woods back where he lived. They also say that if you speak his name loud enough, he'll seek you out and kill you. One campfire crew never got the memo.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After dragging the last remaining victim to his lair, he gets a knife to the shoulder before his whole place catches on fire with him in it. Although the legend may be true, who's to say it lives any longer after that?

Powers/Abilities: Aside from an axe, Marz has sharpened his nails to points so that he may lacerate his foes.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-A vile redneck if there ever was one, Marz has the disposition of a gruesome wife-beater and the look of a lumberjack from Hell. Do as the song says, and heed the warning of his legend next time.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "The Legend Lives" and simply, "Madman Marz".

-Marz' actor, Paul Ehlers, had to wear fake feet to appear larger than he was. He claims that they were extremely slippery, and he almost fell out of a tree while his character was spying on the victims.
